Being Mother of the Bride or Mother of the Groom is supposed to be a delightful day but getting your outfit can be a daunting experience.

Many ladies find getting just the right look rather difficult. It shouldn't be so hard. You want to look elegant, not stand out too much ( don't want to outshine the Bride) after all it is the brides day. You want to have acceptance from bride and/or groom and maybe others as well. You may need to fit into a colour scheme that may or may not suit you and you certainly don't want to look too Old or Too young. But you still want to look the BEST you that you can be.

Here at Ever Elegant we put all our expertise and experience in not only fitting in to the criteria, but getting the outfit that works best for you . Makes you look and feel fantastic.

Whether that is a classic dress and jacket , a floaty lace or silk 3 piece outfit a simple but elegant dress or a pantsuit. You need to express who you are and we will help you do that from our range of outfits that we have sourced from Europe and the UK .

Size and Fit

Firstly please don't feel daunted by the Models on our gallery pictures, All these outfits are made specifically for the mature figure. It is a challenge to get pictures with mature models.

We stock sizes up to 26 and down to 6, and all sizes in between.

Many ladies find it difficult to find the sizes and the fit that's perfect for them.Few ladies fit a standard size. We suggest fitting the problem area, whether that be Bust, tummy or hip ( and these are the most commonly sited) or upper arms, thighs or legs. And then our expert seamstress will do her magic and custom fit the outfit to you. You will end up with a custom outfit at a fraction or the cost.

Ladies from out of town, country Victoria , interstate or New Zealand who have come in store. We have done many adjustments and posted them out. We prefer to be able to refit after adjustments, but where this is not possible we find we rarely have any problems.

As a mother of the bride , or mother of the groom,even you will be knocked out at the comprehensive selections you can try at your leisure in our amazing boutique. You will find superb collections in the boutique, not to be seen anywhere else in Australia. You will be given personalised service and attended to by our experienced stylists, who want nothing more than for you to be in heaven with whatever it is you may decide upon. We have hats , fascinators, shoes and handbags to complement each outfit thus ensuring that you don't have to spend lots of time looking for matching items.

With so many websites selling poor quality fake designer copies, we would like to make clear that we are an authorized retailer for all of our brands and source our product directly from the designers. They are of a high quality.

We have heard many horror stories of ladies purchasing outfits through websites that seem to be genuine, only to find the quality and fit are extremely poor.

If the price is extremely low there is a fair chance that it is a fake manufacturing website.

I found Ever Elegant online and decided to not make any decision on my mother of the bride outfit until I had checked out what Ever Elegant had to offer, when I would be in Melbourne (I live in Sydney) on a planned trip I was making with my daughter - the bride to be. And boy how glad I did. With Helena's expertise she gave me about 8 outfits to try on. The first two were on the short list and I knew we would be walking out of the store that day with my outfit. The third outfit trumped them all and I was sold. There was just a small alteration to be made to make the fit perfect, which Helena had done and ready for me to pick up in time for my flight back to Sydney.
