It is always best if you can visit the shop to try on several outfits, but this may not always be not possible. We do post to all areas of Australia and New Zealand with full refund if the outfit is not to you requirements.
If a visit is not possible , we suggest finding an outfit on the website see if a suitable size is available and then telephone or email us to discuss any concerns you may have. You can purchase over the phone using a credit card or you can pay using PayPal.
Free postage within Australia for orders over $399. If the outfit is not suitable for whatever reason we will give a full refund on the outfit, you will have to pay for return postage.Maximum 2 outfits per delivery ( if you are purchasing them to find one outfit).
During these unusual times when in store sales are not an option for many, I would like to let you know that we have considerable success when ladies purchase from us without first coming in store to try on.
Firstly, we do require a good set of snug body measurements, this can alleviate certain disappointment. We then check the actual outfit with your measurements and will advise you if we feel an area will need adjustment. For instance, if you have a larger hip we can let you know that quite possibly you will need a dressmaker to adjust. As Helena Is a Professional Dressmaker she can advise on the success of any required adjustment. She won't send something if it is not possible to adjust in an area we see a problem with.
Also there are size charts on each product page for the individual designers, these are general and will give you an idea of the size you should fit into and if we have that size available. It should not be taken as the exact measurements of a particular outfit, it is best to check with us about each outfit.
I can't emphasize enough that Correct measurements are a must to get the correct size. Please check the video below to find out how to do the measurements or get a qualified dressmaker to do them for you.
Another thing to consider is the colour of the outfit, its best to stick to colours you know will suit you. Now is not the time to experiment with colours you are not sure will work.
We have had quite a lot of success with distance shopping when these things are taken into consideration. Some clients will purchase 2 items and send back the one not required, or all of them if none work.

We know you're going to love your outfit. But if for any reason you don’t, you’re welcome to return them in an unworn condition within 7 days of receiving them.
- We'll refund you 100 percent of the price you paid for your outfit.
- You will be responsible for the return postage
For in store sales-
We are happy to Exchange or provide Store Credit within 7 days of Purchase.
We do not refund in store sales.
Bust: Place tape under arm and measure around the fullest part of your bust and across shoulder blades
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline.
Hips: Measure around the widest part with feet together, approximately 20cm below waistline.
Height is also an important measurement, and let us know if you have any problem areas. E.g. large upper arms or thighs.
If you are concerned that the outfit will be long enough, you can measure from you centre shoulder to under the knee, if that is the length you require.

Payment and Postage
You will be asked to pay over the telephone by credit or debit card, or pay on line through a Paypal. ( we do not keep any records of credit cards, the payment is put straight into the eftpos machine)
Free Postage for orders over $399.00 . ( you can purchase two items on appro.) You will be required to pay for all outfits on appro, refunds will be made on all returns.
$75 international postage .
If you return the outfit to us we require the outfit to be posted back via Express Postage.
Postage is express - which requires a signature for pick up.
Keeping the Outfit
Please let us know within 7 days by telephone 0394290657 email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We often have ladies hanging out for an outfit which is out on appro and if we know the status of that item we can help those ladies, by either holding when it returns or looking for something else suitable
Returning the Outfit
If you do not wish to keep the outfit, you must return it to us within 7 days of its arrival , notify us of your intention either by phone call or email. We will not accept returns after 7 days of its arrival or with no notification. ( if you live in a remote location we waive the 7 days, just let us know your circumstance.) Especially now with Covid interruptions and slow deliveries, let us know if you are having problems getting the item back in the allocated time.
Outfits returned without notification, or sent back after the time limit will be returned without refund.
After we have received the outfit back and after it has been inspected a refund of the cost of the outfit will be made to you .
If we do not hear from you within this time limit we will assume that you are keeping the outfit and a refund will not be made. But we love to hear from our client how the outfit looks.
Outfits returned to us MUST arrive back within 7 days of their arrival with you.
Reimbursement of price of outfit will be made within 2 days but may take a little longer to reach your account.
Please note special orders from the manufacturer may not be refundable, please enquire
Condition of Outfit
Outfits must be in the same perfect condition as when they were sent out.
If there is any damage when the outfit leaves us, we will have made an agreement with you and written on the label of the outfit EG some Specials.
We inspect all outfits before we send them out to make sure they are in perfect condition.
Any damage sustained whilst in the client’s possession will mean a refund cannot be made.
Many outfits are fragile, use great care and keep covered when not being tried on.
-Wear protection over your head when fitting to avoid lipstick and makeup stains.
-Perfume and cigarette smoke are not acceptable.
Return of the Goods
This is the sole responsibility of the buyer and a refund will not be made if the outfit is damaged.
- All swing tickets and labels must be in place.
- We use Express Post and we require you to do the same.
- Keep tracking labels in case the parcel does not arrive.
- When a parcel arrives with you check the packaging for damage and if present inspect the contents before signing for it.
- If there is damage to the packaging ask the postman to Sign it ‘Damaged Delivery’.
- Please notify us of the tracking details if you are returning.
